Maxi up for sale...

Post by rick130 »

As has been suggested that it was only a matter of time, it's still a bit disquieting. http://www.ruralworld.com.au/properties ... 73136f7968

Anyone on here want to work for themselves on the Gold Coast ?
I wonder if the Bank Manager will at least entertain the thought for a second or two ??

Very sad indeed, but I'm sure Mal and Paula will finally be having the break they both deserve after building their business up into this.
It should be officially recognised in some way as one of this countries premier small engineering firms, especially in the niche market of 4x4 products.
As previously mentioned, I only hope the standards and enthusiasm remain with the new owners when it sells.

Damn! That is SAD indeed! I wanted to order a 49% reduction gear right now though? Can I still do that? if yes, how can I contact them?

Thanks.

AFAIK, its business as usual. They are looking to sell the business due to retirement. No one in their right mind would close a business while trying to sell.

Mal and Paula definitely deserve something for all the work they put in.

As others have said, I hope the new owners keep up the same standards.

yes it is business as usual, discodino there email is

maxidrive@bigpond.com.au

and there phone number is +61 755 303934

i think mal my offer his services as a consoltant when the business sells???

there 49% seems to be pretty good(see post by ruff, i did NOT brake my maxi 49%)

if i had the money i would buy the business in an instant, every time i go there mal and barry are making up more complete axle sets that include: portals, lockers, laminated housings and some with rear steer. plus they are always pumping out axles.

good luck to them, and to all here, buy maxi-drive products and support them as they deserve

cheers, Serg

Word on the LR enthusiast forum is that Mal is going on holiday Wednesday for a month. So if that is true - Buy NOW!
