soa on mk swb

Post by mk swb »

Hey all i'm new to the site had a bit of a look around seems like a good site.

But the real issue is i'm looking at doing a soa and just wanted to know if anyone has made new brackets for the diff for the springs to sit on. And is there a full high steer kit you can buy or have i just got to use bits and pices and if so any one know what bits are needed. Any help would be great. Thanks Rees

Where abouts you located dude?
Snake racing or Big Balls offroad have what you're looking for. You will also need extended brake lines and an angle finder for setting the castor. I did mine last year and its not too tricky as long as you can weld the spring perches strongly.
If you have any dramas PM me. (I did mine on a 40 series but its the same principle)

Like the others said, check the bibles up top. Seeing as your from brisneyland, you are aware that SOA is illegal and unroadworthy in QLD. If you knew this, then ignore my dribble...but if you didnt know it then now you do :D
