Diff Oil level

Hey guys, Just replaced with LSD centre curious about the oil level should i fill the diff until oil runs out of the fill plug or is there a set amount. 89 Pajero SWB.

All cars I have changed the diff oil in, you fill until oil reaches the bottom of the filler/inspection plug .... I think it may be the same for others :cool:

I just did the front diff on the Landcruiser and the amount required filled it to just below the inspection hole. You should be able to dip your finger in and see what condition the oil is in.
