nice fit looks like a really nice engine in a sierra although it will be alot of work.

if you were considering the swap then your better off using a 2.5 or a 2.7L motor as the 2L 2.5L and the 2.7L all share the same block diementions and just differ in bore and stroke and a few accessories

Personally, I don't think this motor is Mazda's best work. (yup, it's a mazda motor) It makes about the same numbers as the 2.0 four cylinder, but has less bottom end torque, will be heaps harder to fit, heavier, and is less durable.
I would go the 2.5 or 2.7 if you needed a V6, but how much motor do you need a 2.7 would be a real handful in a small tyred sierra - I have been in 1.0 litre LWB cars that drive really sweet and have heaps of power when geared right (no, really!) so unless you had plenty of wheelbase and stability to drive a high speed, (where the short stroke of the V6 makes for a nice responsive motor) then you might be better with a boring old 1.6... or a 660cc cappucino motor (sorry, that was just silly)
