urgent ome spring info

Post by Turbo Tonka »

hey, just fitted my ome dakar springs to the rear of my d/cab lux today. the code on the springs is CS009R, and the shackles are sitting forward when on flat ground, i literally have no flex at all. my old standard springs sat the shackles back good, what code do i need to tell the clowns at ARB to get me. Also just measures the fronts on it at 45" long and my new ones to put on at 44" will this be ok, once weight is on them. Help would be great anybody...the CS009R description on my invoice says"Spring hilux 4 runner IFS?????????? im just running a leaf lux all round

My 93 Hilux Dual cab 2.8 diesel is running Dakar's and the rears are CS010R, with the front drivers being CS009FA , CS009FB on the front passenger side.

Rears are 250 kg constant load, and the fronts are 110kg constant load diesel parts with the front drivers side being set slightly higher.

If you have any problems with the local ARB dealers that sold you the springs [ as in they don't give you a good enough responce] contact Syd Groves at Melbourne head office, as this is what I had to do to get right and straight answers.

Ps: these are ment to be 2in lift items

Just remove the two shortest 6mm leaves.. That is 4 leaves total.

Take it for a rough test drive and see what you think after a couple of weeks.
