g60 ute diff swap
g60 ute diff swap
i bought a g60 ute on the weekend and i have some mq diffs just wondering if any one has put mq diffs in a g60 the mq diffs will give me better gearing and disk brakes .thanks matt
80 series cruiser would be a good option. good brakes, good gearing/locker options, good steering and wheel bearing setup. front diff is a bit small and the housings aren't as strong as what you are replacing, but the cv's are comparitively very strong. they also have the rear diff offset to the drivers side, which is what made me think of them over GQ patrol stuff.cut 4B wrote:ill get some pics in the next few days ive started to bob the tray this arve what other diffs can i use
possibly a bit wide, but that could be a good thing.
He wants MQ diffs, which are off centered rear and are alot cheaper then 80s diffs. I dont know about the messurments but he may be lucky that the spring pearches are in the same postion.Wendle wrote:80 series cruiser would be a good option. good brakes, good gearing/locker options, good steering and wheel bearing setup. front diff is a bit small and the housings aren't as strong as what you are replacing, but the cv's are comparitively very strong. they also have the rear diff offset to the drivers side, which is what made me think of them over GQ patrol stuff.cut 4B wrote:ill get some pics in the next few days ive started to bob the tray this arve what other diffs can i use
