Hey gang, just to let you know the GQ CV joints most of you have been waiting for are now in stock. I know a lot of you wanted to be told. Have a look at ebay under GQ CV or PM me if you want to do a cashy. Nothing sells under $85 OK..?

Hi,

Are the CV's iincluding the inner axles?! Are this heavy duty CV's based on genuine Nissan ones ore aftermarket?

I need to buy 4 of them, and to transport its to Romania, Europe, so as I will pay a lot of money for the trasnportation, I want to buy good stuff...!!

Many thanks, Gabi

CV

The CV's are outers only, that is, no inner axles to the diff.

They are not badged as Nissan, which means they are after market.

Quality is very good. This is the first batch of GQ CVs I've been able to get. I have done a mix of about 500 CVs in Hilux, GU, 80 series and 75 series, etc. So far none have broken yet. And I know a lot of Genuine CVs are breaking. I can't say they are better or worse than genuine Nissan until enough of you run them and a trend develops. I know what you blokes do in your GQ's coz I do it too. For the average punter I offer a satisfaction guarantee that they fit and work. If you have tyres within 15% of the original tyre size then I will offer a guarantee for 12 months that if 1 breaks I will post out a free replacement. But I have to rule out abuse such as massive tyres, etc etc etc.

Marks Adaptors are running the same CV in GU in their drop portals. They said they seem to be as good as anything else out there. He's also looking at using these CVs as the starting point for an extra heavy duty conversion with outer band. I will then sell the same CV in 2 forms - regular and heavy duty.

But at this price (125 on ebay buy now or bid - or cash price to OL at $85 ea) you can't go wrong. Cheaper than a second hand CV at the wreckers.

Postage to Romania is $55 ea using economy air.

you need to get a line on aftermarket inner axles. 9 times out of 10 when the CV breaks it takes out the splines on the inner axle. kinda pointless if i buy one of your CV's and then have to go to the wreckers and get a used CV to get the iner axle.

if you could supply a new inner axle and CV combo for 120-130 you would do a roaring trade.

Will look into axles. So far the only after market axles I can find are low volume custom jobs and expensive. Any one got any ideas ...

Sorry - got sidetracked whilst typing. Were bought to go into GU, one is in. Above post was offtopic due to thread being GQ. Basis of above post was to yabber about Hobzee's service and his CV's are good.
