Yeah Yeah Yeah!!!!

This year is going to GO OFF :!: :!:

The best drivers in the country all battling it out to qualify to kick some Seppo butt.

The events are going to really step up to the next level. Not just in the quality of the teams, but in the quality and professionalism of the management of the event itself.

Sam O is really fired up to take it to the Americans.

So if you have not been to a W.E. Rock event yet...get over to Bathurst and cheer on as we wreck our rigs to win  :D

It should be no where near as cold as last year. They are not holding it in the middle of winter, but the sorra round in july has a good chance of being a cold one.

Just an observation.... with so many events being run now, I personally would be looking at finishing each event, rather than going too hard and constantly doing major damage... which not omly places stress on you and your 'team' to get it back on the trails, but if your not getting results, why would businesses sponsor you? Perhaps an overall view of not just the event but the series and the sport.

As I said, just an outside perspective that may be of benefit to some.

I think you will find that the competition is going to be full on and if you're there to win then you have no chance of playing it safe.

Sponsors don't always sponsor winning teams.

Dustin and Becca Webster would be two of the most sponsored and marketed teams. Dustin i think could count his wins on one hand over 8 years of compitition. BUT they know how and when to put on a show and know how to market that.

A team that is well presented and "Entertains" the crowd has just as much chance to draw sponsors as the most winning team.

see ya point.... what I was moreso getting at was to make sure you're at the next one, to 'entertain'. Certainly playing safe wont win, but there has to be a balance point, an equilibrium as such. I would say that makes a good team. Push hard, but know when to back off a bit and go for (eg:80 points instead of 100 when the risk is high)

The way the competition is now, with the amount of talent in the pool, if you are not going for every bonus line and giving it all, you will be left behind.

But your point is a valid one. A war of attrition is won by those who lose the least.
