They're probably rated at 250 lbs which on a LWB is too soft. May be enough for a SWB tho.
As far as quality goes you shouldn't have a problem.
Dobinsons do great springs as well.

What rate are they?
What shocks going with them?
What tires do you wanna run?
What accessories do you currently have/intend to have?
Do you have adjustable panhards and extended brake lines to go with the springs?

Theres more to a lift than just springs.

FWIW, Kings, Dobinsons, OME are all good. Just depends what you can get your hands on.

So yes i no that their is more involved than just springs, I run twin ome n70 (80 series shocks) in the front and ome gu j spec shocks in the rear. Have aus4wd front bar, custom tube rear bar and storage draws(no rear seats) and dual batteries.

We had 5” King coils (SP-5) in a SWB Patrol for some time and they worked quite well. They took a while to break in, but they eventually gave some good articulation. If anything, the rears were possibly a bit too soft as it used to lift front wheels off the ground easily.

You will have to cut guards what ever lift you fit, spacers on the control arms will help out a bit.
my 33's scraped on inner guards wth 6in lift on LWB.

i had a Gq shorty Mav running 35 inch BFG Muds, and due to the tail shaft vibration issues i installed an OME 2 inch suspension and had Sandy at AUS4WD trim the guards and fit flexy flares.
The 35s cleared no worries! Rims were toyota offset

Cheers Grant.

my shorty has 35's, a 5 or 4 inch spring and 2 inch body lift and my guards have been cut out with flexi flares fitted. only scrubs in the rear with full articulation. rear quarters have been cut and custom tube bar fitted.

email me the spring rate of the springs you are looking at and the detals of your vehicle ie everything on it and what motor and I will let you know

Kings in general are fine but you need to get a spring rate to suit your application then most importantly a shock that will suit the spring

Basically the spring contols the height etc of the car and the shock controls the spring so an unmatched shock will cause plenty of ride issues

I would run 5" rear 335 and 4" front 296 with TD ADJ 45mm shocks, you will need the double cardan and all the other bits and peices for that size lift.

I do lovells made to spec, $220 a pair.
