buying an 80 series - whats it worth

Post by whiteknight »

Am looking at getting the mrs's a 97 model 80 Series Landcruiser from a friend of a friend. Its the GXL model 4.5i Petrol with LPG as well which was only fitted 18months ago. Its got 160,000km on the clock, is an 8 seater. It's immaculate inside and out. Its as stock as they come apart from the bullbar and towbar.

What sort of dollars are these things worth, they where going to trade it in so said "make an offer".

I Looked up redbook and got a figure of around $15,000 -$17,000 as a trade in price is this accurate?

Why not let them get the trade in price first, and then buy it from them for that ;)
