Post by VICTOR »

My friend resides on the dark side with you guys and drives a 110. He has lost his clutch and is comeing over on friday night to use my shed and tools to change it. Any tips you could give me to help ease the pain would be great.

What do you mean by "lost" it, does it no longer grip (worn out plate) or no longer disengage (faulty booster or slave)

I hoop he didnt broke de fork , if so, if master and slave are still working, you have to take out de gearbox and replace it. It's about 6 hours work i think.

Succes

As FBF said, it could be the clutch fork.

Rover changed to cheap pressed metal forks which wear through where they pivot.

remove floor plates and tunnel, remove front and rear shaft and exastpipe (rear end) and handbrake, disconnect all the bolts, place one or two garage jacks under de gearbox pull it away from the enging. Place new fork and bolt it all together. Easy as that it is

Good luke
