L28 lift points

Post by Heathx4 »

Silly question for you guys. The L28 is coming out tomorrow morning. Just got it all ready today. One thing I noticed - I couldn't see the lift point at the back of the engine! Where might it be? I don't really want to have to wrap something around the entire block. The front lift point also doesn't look too strong, but I hope it will be alright.

undo all the bolts, get the matress out again, flop your rig on its side and push it out, if it didnt hurt last time i cant see it hurting again :D

you could always find a bolt hole at the rear and put a bolt through the chain and lift off that,

got a arc?

 or just start tearing into it and get down to the bare block...wrap some chains around and piss easy :D :D :D

could always just cut the front clip off and roll it out the side.

even better idea..you should have taken it out at mine and left it in my junkyard   :finger: :D

did manda get the shit for lifting the crane in the cab?

Funny bastards. Used two seats belts with a reef knot to wrap around the back of the block. Did the trick. Was handy for the gearbox too.
