TD42 to TD42t

Post by Cranky »

HI there. Will the head, injector pump & turbo from an 02 td42t bolt onto a 91 td42? the 91 motor is fresh and the 02 motor is seized. If they are compatable, will any other parts off 02 motor be needed- front cover, water pump etc?
thanks, Peter.

the later model block has the turbo drain in the block so you will need to put a drain back fitting in the sump, which is easy.

Use the later front timing cover with gear driven vac pump so you can use a generic Alternator.
