SR5 front diffs LSD???

My bro in law has a 93 SR5 xtra cab lux. He reckons they have a LSD up front in the SR5's.

Is this true?

As far am I am aware all hiluxs have a open front diff
Even the later sr5s are open

Nope its not.
Easiest way to check is jack her up and spin the wheels. if its an LSD they will spin the same way and be sort of locked together. if its open either wheel will spin freely while the other is held.
But I dont know of any factory fitted front LSD especialy in an IFS.

If he bought it second hand someone may have fitted one. Detroit make an LSD called a Trutrack for IFS lux or it could have a lockright locker in it.
