I have just put a bearing kit through the the gearbox of my 94 Coilcab TD42 but I am still experiencing a similar noise. Originally I was eperiencing a problem with a noisy bearing when in neutral. If I depressed the clutch it disapeared. The input shaft bearing was flogged and the gearbox reconditioners reckon there was minimal wear on the shafts. They have advised me that the reckon the noise is coming from the Anti-Rattle Plate/Sub Gear, but couldn't replace as there were none available, would have to be on back order. Is this worth worrying about or should I let it go and get used to it?
