how much room in back of a Vitara 5door ??

Post by smac »

Gday,

we currently have a 4door 87 Rangie and want to get rid of it and i wouldnt mind getting back into a Suzuki again.

It would be mainly used by my wife during the day, but we have a fairly big pusher that would have to go in the back - from the outside, the back looks a little small, but is that just the panelling?

Do you reckon it would hold a pusher that is about 110cm long X 62cm wide X 55cm high when folded?

any ideas would be fantastic. The other option im looking at is possibly an L series Subaru.

thanks,

Mountain buggy goes in on it's side and they don't fold down too small.

If you need more room, fold one side of the rear seat down. You should fit a big stroller in, but it generally doesn't leave much room for anything else, unless you fold the seat down.

:D Sounds familar

The 4 door vitara has no where near as much space as the older rangies (my P38a HSE RR has less space than our old 88' RR did :? ) and the vit's aren't as comfy  But they are much cheaper to run  :D and you don't feel as bad when you mistreat it :D

thanks guys.

i'm actually sick of this pusher, so it might be an idea to change it. the other thing i noticed is that the wheels come off easily and a friend has a very similar model and it has a lot smaller wheels than ours.

One the side is the other option.

Yeah, teh rangie has a fair amount of room, but still not as much room as my work car which is a BA Falcon Wagon - can fit the pusher in length ways, i reckon you could fit 2 in next to each other.

I want to get back into something that is cheap to run, and very reliable just like my old sierra - had done about 260k on the orig 1.3 and it was great - not like my rangie which has done about the same kms - heaps of probs.

thanks again.
