What source for 'ignition' line??

I'm putting a thermo into my zook and was wondering what would be the best source for the 'ignition' line for the relay?

It would preferably be near the battery somewhere, I hope.

Any advice is appreciated as always!

The coil input or else the alternator would be the two best bets I think.
