guys this is scary territory for me being a toyo driver  but i need some advice on lifting a 04 gu first of all im looking at lifting it 2 inches and putting bigger + better shockers in it

first question which springs are best to use?
and which shockers out of rancho and tough dog would be the best?
also are there any other components on the car that need to be changed when doing this

also does pacemaker make exractors for a gu yet?
thanks for your help guys

if you are lucky, this suspension question could possibly have been asked in the past - but only if your lucky.. Maybe even a dozen times in last fortnight.

as for pacemakers, they made extractors for TD42 in 89... thats if yours is a diesel 4.2...

Hey chev, any partical reason for rancho or td shocks?? They may be bigger but not necessarily better....

If you have the coin Koni is a far better option....

And what engine is in your GU???

Bilsteins work well on the GU, and are now avaialble to suit bigger lifts, and Ridepro make some good GU springs, that work well in design, and height.

I wouldnt go with TD or Rancho, IMHO, but Im fussy about ride quality, and build quality.

Saw some at the 4x4 show for a 4.8. This was the company:

They are at every show - someone from here has probably bought something through them. Didn't see the price.
