Hey have a look at the snorkle,

Let me know what you think these are available for sale for $550

Comes with mounting brackets and rubber ends for the whole in the gaurd all you need next is to plumb into your air cleaner setup.

Look great

Can you do both sides of car? Matching left/Right to suit GU?

Also can you do different lengths along the guard?
EG Diesel takes longer to right up behind headlight, Petrol is shorter...

Will get some made up for GU on my truck hopefully.

We discussed the different lengths along the gaurds however they are more prone to damage these are cheaper to make and its actually not that difficult to move things around in your engine bay.

These snorkles have been made for 4.2 petrol, 4.2 diesel and the one in the orange is running an infinity V8.

Someone is already running one on there 4.2 petrol and it looks so much neater than the air snorkles that run down the length of the gaurd but thanks for the feedback fellas.

looks good. Do you have any pics of the car side on to show how the top sits against the vehicle and of the mounts?

Looks real nice but I think it would be good if you could make them in different lengths along the guard because some of us already have a hole further down the guard. But yeah I like it a lot.

I am very very interested in one for a GU...

Its a 3.0TD... But i *think* the airbox is same position as 4.2? I may be wrong...

Anyway, I dont think it matters too much where it enters panel on mine, there will have to bee a run of tubing inside that panel down to the airbox, which could probably be custom/flexible or something... (doesnt have to be stainless all the way)

What do you use around the hole in the gaurd - I have cut a hole in my gaurd for a 4" snorkle and I am wondering what to put around the cut. Maybe a piece of fuel rubber hose with a slit in it

u can get it from clack rubber, just a flat peice of rubber, with a slice down the middle, finish's off the hole really well!
