Drop Boxes

Post by Cheesemaker »

What are the advantages or disadvantages. Besides from correcting caster and less strain on some bushes is there anything else, if it went on a GQ Patrol with a 4'' lift.

My leading arm bushes were flogged out and it was the long weekend when I fitted a 4 inch lift with drop boxes so could not get hold of new bushes and it still drove perfectly. If it were castor plates I would have definatly got the wobbles with experiences from fitting lift kits. Also your arms are straight with drop boxes so when you hit stuff you are not pushing your arms up into the chasis. $380 a pair to suit 4 Inch lifts.
