I was looking at doing this and the feedback I got was the exhaust had to be run under the sidestep outside the sill - didnt want to do this so never bothered, I still go thte tank and would be interested in using it if anyone has a different opinion on where to run the exhaust.

yaeh smoe pleope cnat selpl. But taht is thier porbelm. Pleope lkie you and me are gfietd.

If you get another hilux tank to sit on the other side of the exhaust then re-route the exhaust (consult an exhaust dude, dude) and get a pump and line so you can flick a switch and pump the fuel to the other, main, tank. Get a piece of staino to run, as your filler, to the new auxilliary tank from your regular fuel filler and cut and weld the new staino to the new hole which you just cut into the old filler. The result being that when you fill at the servo you can select by wiggling the nozzle into which hole/tank you want. Get another switch wired in so you can also select between tanks, which tank you want your fuel gauge to read from. Hilux is one of the easiest to do it to.

if u have a bodylift, it will fit above the crossmember/brace where the cab ends and go above the tail shaft and under the tray. i am going to have 2 fillers coming up through the floor on either side of the tray.
