Body lifts and suspensio lifts on Hilux's have been done to death on this forum. Do a SEARCH and you will find tonnes of advice.

A body lift can be sold in a kit... but it's only blocks eiher nylon or aluminium or similar cut to your desired lift height.

There is lots of topics in search... but just quickly

As said in YOUR OTHER THREAD, brake lines, vacuum lines, steering column, fuel filler neck, gear select levers, radiator shroud and radiator piping, bullbars/bumper...... all these need to be looked at.

There is also a question of legality.

Suspension lift is much easier to do, as you can just buy lifted leaves or do a SPOA conversion. This although raises your centre of gravity, but gives you more clearance for bigger tyres etc. This is much more accepted by insurance/police than a body lift.

On a solid axel with leaf springs, the leaves usually run underneath the axel.

A Spring Over Axel Conversion (SPOA) moves the leaves to sit on top of the axel rather than underneath.. easy was to obatin lift as you can still use your old springs

Guessing by the statement leaf on back he is refering to a IFS. Either way, Hilux are spoa from factory, so this might be a very quick conversion :D .

Oohhhhh serious

hahaha I thought I was seeing a lot of SPOA hiluxes going around lately.... ahahha :D
I never thought it was standard... hahah silly me
Thanks Layto

Well new lifted leaf springs and new torsion bars/standard bars wound up will give you a bit of lift. Although there is a limit with IFS rigs, as you will lose downtravel as you get higher.
