TD42 on gas?

Can a TD42 be converted to dual fuel, gas/diesel?

If it's possible anybody done it and do ya reckon it's worth it?

Yep TD42's can be converteed to run on LPG/Diesel. There was a couple of winch/OBC style trucks running a couple of years back. There is also some NZ trucks withit.
I dont know of anyone personally with it though. But I think its coming more common.

I was talkin to ross lyon about this out at Warrigul, and he said its a fairy costly conversion and like most would take a long time to get any money benefits in return.

Read an article in 4wd monthly a few issues back, don't know if the power gains are really worth the hard earned coin for the setup. They were conservative amounts of gas injection though, heard of people running much higher percentages with big perfomance gains but no good for engine life.

its mainly done for a performance not fuel econmy and better with a turbo as naturally aspirated motors there isnt as much gain.

if you trying to do it for cost aint worth it.. better off spending the 3k on a buzz box
