CAN U RE-PROGRAM GQ AUTO 4TH GEAR & LOCK UP CONVERTER??

I HAVE A 94 GQ TI AUTO WITH 35`S, CAN YOU DISCONNECT THE LOCK UP CONVERTER OR CHANGE ANY PART OF IT EXTERNALLY??
IT LOCKS UP AT 90 KPH...

Yep, you can hook up a switch and a couple of diodes to the Torque Converter Lock Up Solenoid wire, and have it lock up whenever you hit the switch, or if you dont want it to lock up at all you can hit the power swiitch.

IT STILL LOCKS UP WITH POWER SWITCH ON,I ALSO FOUND OUT WHEN IN LOW RANGE IF YOU PUT THE SWITCH IN HOLD MODE IT ACTS AS AN ENGINE BRAKE IN 1ST GEAR,TOP IDEA I THINK...

Power on won`t stop it locking up. I thought about doing all this and the conclusion I came to was that it may overheat and damage the box if you do it.

if you disconnect the lock up you will definately be looking at a rebuild not too far down the track when the auto locks up it runs alot cooler (no slipping) so more heat means more damage
