Grooving ETs and TSLs

Post by DiscoDino »

Did some grooving to my old 32" TSL Radials to give them some life after 3 years of abuse, and got my buddy all turned on to groove his 8 month olf 32" ETs.

Basically, I can say that each set of 5 tires took us less than 2 hours. The TSL got the most benefit since they are a bad tire to start with. Their wet-onroad performance changed dramatically as I was not able to get them to skid. Mud performance remained meagre, rocks got better. The ETs got better onroad on a whole, but I believe that he'll be loosing some side-wall lugs soon offroad.

Here are some pics:

Here are the ETs:

After purchasing a set of 35x10.5x15 ETs myself soon after grooving my old TSLs, I believe I'll keep them as is, and keep my grooving energy for my 36 SXs once I receive them in X-mas.
