how do i get the drums off at the rear of my 40. got the wheel off can't get the drum off... please don't tell me i'm stupid!!!
fj 40, 82 model factory ps..... oohh yeh, 350 chev. lots more to do. getting there, getting there....

Mine were a bitch to get off, make sure those 2 philips head screws are removed, and release the shoes through a hole on the back after removing a rubber grommet.

got it!!! just needed a little encouragment. the retaining bolt was missing so it was confusing me. i couldn't work out how the drum was being held on. fuck me the brake was rooted... cheers anyway!!
