How to remove rear vents GQ

Post by mabsydney »

I took the two screws out of the plastic vents on the rear pillars of my GQ but there's something still holding them in place and I don't want to break them.

What's the secret?

It is like a push in plastic locator type fitting. It is towards the front of the vent.....try and lever or wriggle it out gently...maybe a spray of parrot pee...and then more wriggling It helps if you can let the sun warm em up a bit too....and all the bits yu are likely to bust are available from Nissan...pretty reasonable price too.
