Entries steadily coming in.

Just under half full. Most entries are for high mount class- would like to see more low mount classes.

Details on this event www.navrun.com.au

If i've got my engine conversion done i'll be in. May even just leave the low mount on for the time being.

Is it simply a high mount or low mount winch that specifies vehicle class? Or are other things taken into account such as tyre size etc.

Just very simple classes.

Low mount winch or high mount winch. You can have anything else you like so long as your vehicle is registered.

It is now confirmed that the November Navnite has been changed from Toolangi to the Western Tyers District.

The compeditors doing the Walhalla/ Erica Navrun will have a good glance of the tracks I am talking about around that area.
NavRun wrote:While finishing the Walhalla Navrun on Saturday, Hobzee found an area for our November Navnite. When I mean steep, its steep. The computer firemaps we were using stated "steep- downhill only". I have never ever come across this on a government map before- and they mean what they say.

There is a whole series of tracks to cater for the navnite here and it is only 20 minutes from Moe.

Pitty it's so close to the Pirahna. I can't see two weeks being enough time for some people. If i don't get there to compete i guess i could marshal and get me kicks that way!

It is now official. The Navnite has now been re-located to Erica, and the November Navnite will be kept in Toolangi.

Due to the closures, dozing or tracks etc of the area, this gives us no option.

Anyway, Hobzee and I have found numerous tracks, just 15-20 min. out of Moe much tougher than Toolangi. For us this is a better preference.

Cheers, Rudi

Not sure about exact time, but assume you can have a feed at the Erica pub before briefing at Erica. (Note we will have the bretho so no overdoing the booz - blowers don't get a start).

I have a few marshall crews but a few more would mean extra stages.

Going out this weekend for final prep. Anyone up for a drive?

Marshalls meet at 1pm at Erica Pub.
Competitors briefing at 9pm at Erica Pub then start ... sober.

One stage will be up Lady Manners Link Tk. Another will be a circuit following a creek. Any Marshalls wanna cum for a ride this Sunday?

Remember Marks Adaptors are our naming sponsors - maybe throw in a quick V8 conversion before the event...

Finalised all the stages yesterday. An excellant mixture of stages, with a few differences compared to other Navnites- we won't disapoint you that's for sure.

Lady Mannor track should prove a good challenge- is it possible for anyone to make it up without winching?? The challenge is on!!

A good number a competitors signed up but there is always room for more, espically in the Low Mount class. Got nothing else to do this weekend??

www.navrun.com.au for details and entry form or ring 03 9789 6985.
