different tyre diameter .2"

Post by Spartacus »

i feel like being a tool bag and running TSLs on front and boogers out back.

does .2" OD variance make significant difference?

------size------------OD
35x14.50-15LT----35.0 Booger
15/35-15LT--------34.8 TSL

as far as im aware they are both 35s altho not all tyres are true size etc.

Nope. The difference in wear you get on tyres normally will often get you this much variation, as well often a half dozen identical tyres from the same manufacturer.

Interco tyres are know for there odd sizes, I have read about the same size and type of interco being up to 1" out.

I think i read it here on outers about someone having 3 tyres all different sizes.

spent a bit of time there youself have ya :D

i knew there was always goin to be a difference between tyres, just wondering whether
such a small variance would muck with the transfer..

but goin by comments about being being out i guess a 35 is a 35 in the end

The normal "acceptable" variation is about 3%.... whcih strangely enough works out to about an inch in size.

Mind you if I bought some rubber and one tyre was 1" bigger than all the others I'd be pissed..... and ask them to get me 4 more in the bigger size.
