Picked up a navara transfercase last week to use with the uni mogs.
the reason for this is its passenfer side front drop and centre rear drop for the shafts.
there is a flange for the shaft to bolt up on the front output but the rear has a coned out section on the back of the housing, an oil seal and a small spline sticking out about 2cms from the oil seal with no thread of any sort there so i cant see how a flange attaches...
what i want to know is how i go about attaching a shaft to this?? anyone got any pics of navara t case in a car or know what im talkin about?
this t case is identical to GQ transfer NEARLY, cept this rear out put and the passenger side front drop rather than drivers side....
think its out of 2.5 4 cyl diesel or 2.6 petrol 4 cyl navara......
any help would be great
cheers guys

sounds like it has a slip yoke in the back of the tcase instead of in the tailshaft itself
vitara's have this same thing standard
bout the only way to get a flange on there is to cut up a slipyoke, weld a flange onto it, and drill and tap the output shaft so you can bolt it on

there is one type of transfer dont know the part number that you can change the main shaft out of a gq t/case with the rear output and flange

Navara is the TX10A case, Patrol is the TX12A case. They don't have anything at all in common internally.
www.purenissan.com has a fixed output (slip yoke eliminator) for it, as well as 3.96:1 gearing. Supposedly BigBallsOffroad.com in Australia has developed a set of low-range gears for the TX10A as well that are to be sold through 4x4parts.com but they've been in limbo for a while stateside. Might wanna ring BBM up and inquire.

thanks mate...
im not really after gears at thsi stage..... if the case proves to be successful in stock form i might later on beef up the shafts and put gears in , but i wont need reduction in the t case with unimogs and auto.....
ill look up that eliminator now
cheers
