Post by Ravenous Rhino »

Hi all, got a detroit truetrac to put in my rear diff as the oem limited needs rebuilding, plan to rebuild that and use it in the front axle if it fits? anyway back to the true trac. as i am not removing the pinion only the centre to change the boss, does anyone know how best to set up the clearance between the ring and pinion when i put it back together? there must be some tolerance measurment but my haynes manual has no info what so ever about diffs? all and any help gratfully received. :?
