Has anyone put rubber flares and mud flaps on a 80 series GXL? I've now ripped one front fibreglass flare in half and now I've ripped off one rear moulded mud flap and the other is just hanging on.
I was originally going to fix the ripped flare but now I've killed the rear moulded mud flaps I think I need to rethink it. If I take the fibreglass flares off a GXL, is it just like an RV or Standard underneath? I know there will be holes in the bodywork where the flares are bolted on but I was thinking of just putting in some rubber grommets from Clark Rubber. I'm not too interest in it looking very pretty Does anyone know how hard the rubber flares are to fit? Do they fit in well with rubber mud flaps? If anyone has any ony photos I've be very grateful .
