Hi all,I'm in need of a snorkle on my lux,but my problem is I have an exo,so 'safari' or the like is out of the question. Also my main problem is I don't want to obscure too much of the driver vision of the passenger side.Custom one seems to be the way to go,but anyones ideas would be TOPS

well i put a custom snorkle on my car, it wasnt nearly as hard as i thought it would be,it cost round $170ish
there are a few choises
-one piece steel
-custom plastic one with rubber elbow bends
PROs, and cons
-the one piece would be easier to keep water tight. harder to make/measure, looks good in stainless steel
-the plastic one is easier to make, quicker and is much cheaper, in some cases isnt as water tight
i made a plastic one.

You could run it through the firewall into the dash...

Have some mad induction noise in the cab

Why not mod your exo cage and run the snorkel through the exo cage, maybe enlarge that section of cage.
Just an idea ?

exactly

its fine under the dash as long as u dont do really deep crossings and its also safer to run a k&n or high flow filter as not as much exposure to dust or water etc.

Hypolux (hypozook) had a flexible tube that ran under the cab and back behind the cab upwards. Might be woth a look, though then it is open to damage under the vehicle.
Layto....
