tie rod end for GQ to GU steering box conversion

ive got a GU steering box i want to fit to my gq. i already have an adjustable drag link fitted, but im told the taper on the GU pitman arm is different from the GQ one. can i get a tie rod end with the same size thread as the GQ one with the correct taper for the GU pitman arm? if so where do i get one? and if anyone can supply a part no it would be handy. i spoke to wholesale suspension in penrith and he claimed it wasnt possible. but i doubt it. can someone help please?

with the gu box, the tie rod is upside down compared to the gq one. the taper is close enough.
