NPafter market suspension.

Post by 19738662 »

Had a recent problem with XGS Shockers from TJM fitted to my NP Diesel. I was looking for a better suspension with a "lift" too. The first day they had it, there was a squeaking noise in the left front shocker which they couldn't fix. The next day the off side front developed the same noises as the nearside. A salesman tells me (for TJM) that they have had numerous problems with the XGS shockers & that they were removed from sale for months trying to scource the problems apparently they were very bad on 100 series cruisers. Rather that stuff around I put Koni adjustables & King Springs on however the TJM springs (apparently Kings make springs for TJM)did not boost the heigth of the vehicle & it looks the same as it came off the showroom floor. TJM tell me they cannot do anything further for me and say that the 40mm lift is it. Why do I see & hear that other Paj owners have up to 3" inch lift & I see NP Pajeros sitting up nice & proud & my vehicle is nose heavy!! Albeit I have a steel b/bar & winch but surely there are springs that can cope with that extra weight. Has anyone had similar problems or can offer suggestions. Bob
