Doing an oil change today I removed the first Oil filter only to notice that the threaded bit that you usually thread the filter onto came away with the filter....wtf....So I unscrewed it and put it back in the housing ,finger tight, seemed to come to a stop about half way. Then the same thing happened with the second filter.
This has never happened before, and I have done heaps of oil changes.
Maybe I had them done up too tight.
How do I lock them back in place, surely imposible to get locktight to work with all the oil around?
