Places to get Rover parts

Post by jsttry »

Darwin doesn't have an abundance of Rover parts so I'm looking for an interstate shop or online store that deals with Range Rover parts that I may be able to use to get replacements? Are there any people would recommend for good service and price?

Things on the list for now include some power steering parts to help stop some leaks (need to identify the leak yet) and another new starter motor.

I'm in Alice and have the same trouble as you after much chasing and buying in the southern states (Vic, Sa, Wa) I have concluded that you are much better off getting stuff in Queensland not only do they have the parts but they are usually cheaper.
Do a yellow pages search online for Rover car parts and you will get 11 different places.
If you are patient you can often get stuff from either the UK or NZ.

They are genuinely cheap on most items give them a ring and price it up and then compare to a few others - on the rover parts I have found them cheapest in 95% of occasions, on bosch parts and ignition bits - there are cheaper options out there but for the majority of things I do my shopping there.

I agree with RaginRover. FWD are mainly a wholesaler and supply most LR places in OZ (even dealers for series/county/RRC) with parts.
