Driveline thud/clunk

Post by jumankum »

Hello,

When I engage or disengage the clutch there is a loud thud. Its as if the clutch is either engaged or disengaged ie there is no slip.
Happens in all gears but only on the upshift. Its gets worse the higher in the rev range that you shift.
The clutch was replaced with a Safari HD approx 50,000 klms ago and vehicle is TD 42. Could a crook engine mount cause this symptom? They were replaced a while back but may well have busted again.

Any help appreciated
Cheers Jim
