4.2 EFI to Brunswick 6.5
4.2 EFI to Brunswick 6.5
Could someone give me a better idea of prices for a brunswick conversion to 6.5 chev from 4.2efi/gas manual. Something better than between 12k and 20k
Re: 4.2 EFI to Brunswick 6.5
The conversion quote I got few mths ago for a GU was ~$23,000
July 2006 (issue 94) of 4wd monthly contains a black GU wagon, converted into a twin cab with a 6.5l diesel chevy in it.
It is also fitted with a top mounted screw type blower
Brunswick did the conversion, and it looks like an absolute weapon !!!
Bet it cost a mint though, otherwise everyone would want one.....

Can i ask why wouldnt you do a LS1/LS2 CONVERSION instead
brand new create motor for between 4500-6500 why its out do a cam only upgrade i reckon you could do it for less then 12-14k drive in and drive out

i was told about 18 & up wards which included the motor & everything thing else included? including the motor having just been re built?!
they also take trade ins & rebuild them
when doing a engine conversion the engine must be made the same yr or newer than the vehicle, so it ur after something a tad cheaper look in to the 6.2 they ended around 97 ish ?
