my gq has turbo and 340k, still going well
my mates is turbo with 380k goes harder than mine.

drivelie incl i think these machines are just starting to wear in at these km's.... and allot of hiway kms by the sound....
no real dramas just get someone i the know to give it the once over....and factor into the price the resale will be poor....
most dont like to buy cars over 300km,,,,, just a fact of life!

Just did the 370,000km service on mine.
Uses abour a litre (max) between changes & that varies with how many trips I do in that time.
First owner was the fisheries, I dont know if it towed boats then, second owner (from 40,000km) was a friend of the family & they have horses so it towed a horse float (I have also found out since that they put a clutch in it but thats all driveline wise), third owner was my old man who towed with it regularly & also towed a caravan around Oz with it. It still has th clutch the second owner fitted to it & has never had any other driveline repairs at all.
It all comes down to treatment & maintinence.
At the moment there are no driveline noises, only the limited slip clutches are a bit rough but this is common so I am not worried about that.

Km's will be ok if serviced ok and with correct oil. When i rebuilt mine at 550,000 bore wear&bearing wear was minimal and still just within fact tolerances, but some camshaft lobes were a bit down and valve rockers and shaft needed replacing. Mine was using no oil between changes. I still ended up doing a complete rebuild though, but would have easily gone much further.

whats the price your getting it for? If its a whole heap cheaper, drive it till it dies and in the meantime hunt around for a low kms 4.2TD, do a swap over and sell the other motor...

getting it for $4250, so it's a pretty good deal i think. With the historyt it's got and the condition it's in. I think he said the injectors had been done a while ago just purely for preventative maintanence
