I tried fitting an Airflow Snorkel to my MQ once. I could not follow the instructions at all, there was no decent template for the fender holes, and if I had fitted it the airflow would have entered the fender near the headlight, done a 360 turn headed back towards the firewall and then done a 90 turn through the inner guard to exit right where my pre-filter was mounted. Sent it back and fitted a Safari. Template matched exactly, no 360 turns and it entered the engine bay just where I wanted.

Yeah, it was touch and go! Water was coming out the heater vents! I fitted a Safari snorkel straight after that trip.
