Hey
i kinda dumped the clutch a little bit in 1st gear
and now my gearstick moves a long way
i heard a crunch and i think something fell through the gearbox
all the gears work fine, it stays in gear, linkages seem to all be good, the gear stick just seems to shivel a lot now allowing it to move in like a semi circle
any ideas? the thing like the ball of the gearstick seems to have been grinded a bit..
let me know thanks

gear stick moves a lot
Check under the stick that there is a bolt in the top of the gearbox. the bolt is called a shifter locating bolt.
Take boot off.
take plate off
take gearstick out
check for bolt.
replace bolt.
put back together.
been a couple posts on here also on this.
Musta been a weakened bolt as i dump mine a lot in first. esp in sand.
