Brakes
Brakes
Recently replaced my rear brake cylinders and shoes.
After a recent wheel I was coming home and every now and then it wanted to pull to the left (without applying brakes).
There is plenty brake fluid so im not sure whats going on...?
Brake booster stuffed possibly?
Also pedal seems to feel resonably low when brakes are applied.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Cheers PAUL..

wheel bearing failure can mimic brake issues.
worth a check of that. front and rear, especially after serious bogholes.
also cv's can pull on steering if they bust or are about to bust.
self adjusters in the rear brakes can go in backwards I discovered the hard way

my 1l sierra was doing this in the front right drum, it would grab for a second and release, i thought it was the hydraulics playing up, turned out the brake shoe had come apart and was grinding my drum, unfortunitly i didnt realise this until the front drivers wheel completly locked up at 80km,
had to replace everything in the front brake as it destroyed everything,
i no there new shoes but still mite be worth pulling the drum off and just making sure everything is ok,

Hi Paul , Have you let the OL crew know the final conclusion of your brakes dilema? Coz they need to know I thinks... I think other Zooks out there have had the same problems...mistaboz wrote:Recently replaced my rear brake cylinders and shoes.
