I just worked on one the other day... 3.5 on gas. They hardly ever used it on petrol and wanted it to run on petrol again as they were travelling around Oz.

Had to drop the tank, replace the fuel pump and filter, have the tank cleaned from the 5mm of shyte that had formed on the bottom and remove the manifold and clean the injectors. About $1000 later it was running on petrol again.

My only suggestion is to run a full tank of premium through her every third or fourth tank. If your going to be forking out $1000 to have the fuel system cleaned every 5 years i personally don't think its very cost effective!

On the other side of the coin it seemed to still have some get up and go on Gas.

Hope this helps

We have our NM 3.5 on Gas and love it. Only notice a small loss of power with the CT on the back. Round town we don't really notice the power difference.

I run the car for the 1st 10 mins of driving every morning on Petrol just to keep all pumps working. Over 12 months since the conversion and still running perfectly.
