4runner rear disc kit

Post by hobpedlar »

Ok.I've sourced a 1JZ-GTE,an R150F box and now to complete a good weeks work I need to know where I can get a rear disk brake conversion kit for a 90' 4Skinner.Anyone out there done this before?
I can get a disk transferecase hand brake set-up from the US but would prefere to get everything local so when it breaks I can fix it within a month.

I used GQ rear disks and subaru front calipers on the rear of my bundera, works good, does need a proportioning valve to get the balance right though. made up some brackets from 8mm plate. all goes together pretty easily once the brackets are fabricated.

there are pictures of it in the bundera engine conversion thread.
