question has me stumped
question has me stumped
one of my friends is interested in putting a vitara carby on his 1.3....
What he wants to know is does he have to use the vitara intake manifold?( there seems to be more of the vacume crap on the vit. carby) or can he block off some of the vac. crap and use the 1.3 intake manifold?

so the rumors are not true. it has been said that a vitara carby will "bolt on" but nobody ever mentions about the tuning required or what to do with the vac lines.
Webers are easy to set up and tune. even an idiot could do it as there is heaps of info out there on it.

He wants to know about a 1.6 carby not a bloody webber! Aerenandmel, I've just had a vitara carby put in my 1.3 sierra, I have no idea how it goes on but it didn't require the vit intake manifold.... PM joeblow, he's the man to ask cos he did it (just don't get him started on a webber conversation!)
Edit: All things need tuning, even people. Webbers require the most tuning out of the lot though
