GQ Brake Booster Leaking - Rebuildable???

Post by BigMav »

Can anyone tell me if the brake booster can be repaired with new seals or something. Or is it a replacement job? I hope not, just replaced the bloody brake master, they ain't cheap!!

I'm pretty sure you can get the kits genuine from Nissan. I bought a new master cylinder genuine not long ago and it was $247.00 (trade) which I thought was pretty good for price considering the aftermarket one I priced was $450.

Cheers Mick.

thats extremely good, i payed 320 for aftermarket although I do prefer the reservoir on the aftermarket one, the cap secures a lot better. I know they're rebuildable but I was after info on the booster behind it. I got quoted well over 400 at a couple of places also for the master.
