The cheap ones dont have very good dies.
I have a cheap chinese jobbie and it bends OK but the dies have started to spread and the bends arnt as perfect anymore.
You can use "Dawn" dies in the cheapies with an adaptor.

If you can stretch the budget, pick up a SPEEDWERX bender. Not a cheap unit ($850.00/Bender.$800.00/Die) but does an awesome job and sooo simple to use
