rear springs

Post by dominic »

howdy,
my rear springs are shot and as of yet i dont have the cash for lift kit.
i have spotted some rear springs out of 2002 hilux for next to nothing,
was wondering if any one new of they would fit into my LN65??

thinking of grabbing them anyway and seeing if they will...

cheers

they will but they will move the diff about 50mm rearwards. I think they require different bushes also.

mm.
they have bushs fitted to them already.
at the moment i cant see any advanatges to moving the diff rewards,
and it might mean poss making the tailshaft longer.
not sounding like a cheap quick fix so far!

cheers

is it style side or tray back? if tray back you shoudl get them. they will move your diff rearwards about 50mm there is no need to modify your rear driveshaft it'll be fine. there is a thread on here sumwhere i started abotu rear articulation for a lux and sumwhere int hat thread there is a part number for the bushes you need. you then run a 200mm eye to eye shackle wiht m18 high tensile bolts. it will eb illegal because of the shackles but will flex alot better
