89 GQ LWB Auto

Post by MKPatrolGuy »

It is my Bosses car and they are wondering what they could get for it, as they are looking to update.

One owner
it is totally stock except for colour coded ARB bullbar and side rails/steps, driving lights and CB.
2 tone black/silver
420,000kms
straight petrol
A/C that has recently been regassed
very clean and straight except for a minor dent near the fuel filler and some marks on the factory flares and a small tear from wear in the drivers seat.
regularly serviced and only ever used new parts, never second hand bits.
only been offroad a few times but only as a tourer, not real 4x4ing

Can get pics if that will help.

Its not a bad looking unit, but the klms will kill any value.

Has the thing ever been rebuilt, or had $ spent on it, to boost the advertising?

Probably $10k would be it, could be a good buy to do a chev conversion and a good comp car!

HI There

You could have a look at this Site

www.redbook.com.au

it is what most of the car yards work off for valuations

What month 89?

The kilometres is gunna make it under $10k easy, especially if the motor is original. Keep in mind the diffs and gearbox would still be approaching the half million.

Tell us what they offer him trade, he may get that on here for it. They may only offer 7k or 8k trade. Someone on here may purchase it for that?!?!?!

Thanks for all the input guys, it is the original motor. I'm not sure of the build month, I'll find out though and I'll also see what they get offered asa trade in.

Its a taxi, would be very lucky to get 8k for it..... Half that amount of kms might get you just over 10k....
